Neelix's mouth tended to run on when he was nervous and the class nine
neutronic wavefront approaching caused his mouth to go to warp with the
end result being the Captain's acquiescence to Fair Haven running 7x24.
The crew wondered why Chakotay was assigned to 6 months duty in the kitchen
after Neelix's lifeless form was found floating outside the ship without
the benefit of a environment suit. Nothing was ever proven, perhaps due
to the fact that trace evidence was obscured by the presence of a fine
coating of a pulverized crystalline material, of the kind that stored holo-programs.
