<Addy> Once upon a time . . .
Kathryn Janeway found herself trapped in Commander Chakotay's arms.
<Anne3>
lol
<Anne3> She was trying to remember how she got there.
<Addy> "Chakotay, let go!" Kathryn stated, a little dazed.
<Anne3> "Ok, but if I do you'll fall,"
he said with a smile.
<Anne3> She gasped and grabbed onto
her First Officer tighter.
<Addy> "Oh so all of a sudden you're trying to hold onto me?" he grinned, using the double meaning playfully.
<Anne3> "Commander, I intend to hold onto you for the rest of my life," she replied. Two could play at that game.
<Addy> Chakotay blinked twice and paused. Slowly, cautiously he laughed, "That's a good one, Captain. Under the circumstance I thought you would break into a sweat and not into humor."
<Anne3> She looked up at him, "I know this will sound like a cliché Commander. But I don't remember how I wound up in your arms. Care to refresh my memory?"
<Addy> "Well," he turned serious, "we
were running from the Tangarri after they shot down our flyer -- you tripped
and fell. You seemed to have lost consciousness until I picked you
up . . ."
<Addy>
(I’m tired lol what can I say)
<Anne3> "I carried you here. It seemed like the best hiding place," he finished with a shrug.
<Addy> "To the edge of the cliff?!" Kathryn exclaimed. "Couldn't we have done better than this? Do we know where they are," Kathryn looked around, as best she could, still in his arms.
<Anne3> "Stop wiggling Kathryn, you're going to get us into trouble." He looked down into her face as he said it, and noticed she was starting to blush.
<Addy> "Trouble? Commander? Couldn't be any worse than the, hmm, position we were in on our honeymoon," she smirked.
<Anne3> "Kathryn, I'd love to oblige you, but I think it would be, uh, "inconvenient" if we were interrupted by the Tangarri."
<Addy> "Damn," Kathryn sighed. "Alright Chakotay -- then have Voyager beam us up. We'll . . . take this matter . . . to my ready room," she stated matter-of-factly. Chakotay knew they would be sharing more than the matter at hand.
<Anne3> He laughed, "The one time we
want Tuvok to interrupt us, and he's nowhere to be found."
Just then they heard, "Tuvok to Captain Janeway. Shall I beam
you and the Commander up?" he inquired.
<Anne3> "Yes Tuvok, beam us directly
to our quarters if you please," she said just before locking her lips onto
her husband.
