Water Falling
by Anne Rose
As Tom and B'Elanna got closer to their picnic spot, they could hear the sound of the waterfall, and something else filtering through the noise - laughter. It was the high-pitched voice of a woman laughing, and when they were even closer, they could make out the lower pitched laughter of a man also.
Stepping through the trees, they called out to Kathryn and Chakotay who were splashing each other playfully and enjoying the water.
Kathryn waved back to them and motioned them to join them. Leaning over to Chakotay, she whispered, "You were right about keeping the suits on."
Lightning
by Anne Rose
The lightning flashed again outside the tent, and Kathryn snuggled in closer against Chakotay.
"The great Captain Janeway, afraid of a little lightning?" He teased.
"Don't be silly," she chuckled. "I just like this shirt. It's so soft," she said, running her hands over his chest.
He pulled her closer, kissing her. "If you like it that much, I'd be happy to let you have it."
Their eyes locked as he stripped off the shirt.
Quickly she tossed it into the corner and pushed him onto his back.
"I thought you wanted the shirt," he chuckled.
"I wanted you more."
Down, But Not Out
by Anne Rose (Spoilers: Basics)
He watched the firelight flicker, casting light and shadows across her face. "What are you thinking?"
She stared into the fire. "I dreamed last night that I found part of Voyager on this planet, all twisted and charred, but I could still make out the name on one of the pieces." She sighed. "I hate being stranded here."
Chakotay quietly slid over and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into his lap. "It's understandable. You're worried about your ship. But we've been stranded before and escaped."
"Maybe we should have stayed on New Earth?" She grinned at him.
Walking Together
by Anne Rose (Spoilers: Basics)
The sun was beating down on them as they trudged along the sandy hillside, heading back to camp. They had found some edible roots but no water yet, and they needed to get under cover soon.
Without warning, the sand shifted slightly causing Kathryn to stumble. She threw her arms out, but there was nothing to hold onto, except for Chakotay. He dashed forward when she slipped, and caught her in his arms, keeping her from hitting the ground. "Thanks," she smiled, once she caught her breath.
"I'll always be here for you, Kathryn."
She pulled him closer, "I know."
A drink with a friend
by Anne Rose (Spoilers: Resolutions)
"Do you remember the last time we sat here sharing a drink?"
"On the holodeck?" She asked.
"No, here," he said, indicating the scene.
She plucked a long grass stem and twirled it. "We didn't have any wine in the cabin."
"I said 'a drink', it might have been tea," he sighed in frustration.
Kathryn rolled over closer to him on the blanket and tickled his ear with the grass. "It was tea you made from the native plants, and our blanket was about 4 meters father that way." She said pointing toward the trees.
Chakotay smiled and kissed her.
