Mysticism
Mysticism is a concept/a theory/a path...a way of living your life, just like religion or a school of thought. It is religion but it is above all religions because it is the religion of religions! Mysticism is like a convex lense, all the spectra of light after passing through it become concentrated at one point and that point is God and God alone, i.e. you achieve oneness and you become what my Guru called "Intune with Infinite". A mystic can belong to any religion or school of thought.Dr. Nexus, 2000
Sufism and Islam can not be separated, in the same way that higher conciousness or awakening cannot be separated from Islam. Islam is not an historical phenomenon that began 1400 years ago. It is the timeless art of awakening by means of submission. Sufism is the heart of Islam. It is as ancient as the rise of human conciuosness. Mysticism + Islam = Sufism
Whatever its origin, the term Sufism has come to mean those who are interested in the inner knowledge, those who are interested in finding a way or practice towards inner awakening and enlightenment.
