Written before the Becomings but after Angelus kills Ms. Calender. It's not very long - there's a load of Viva Forever lyrics in there. The author (SpiceFan0@aol.com) notes that this was written at 3:00 in the morning after a high caffeine intake. Makes sense.

Buffy sat in the Bronze waiting for Xander and Willow to get there.As she waited she thought about what had been happening the past months.She thought about Angel turning bad.About Ms.Calender being killed.About her life and all her friend's lives being threatend because she couldn't kill him.Him.She couldn't even think his name now.Even though he hurt her so much now,she still loved him.Well not him but who he used to be.The song playing ended and a new one came on.It was Viva Forever by the Spice Girls.As the song played Buffy thought about how it described her and Angel......

"He said he loved me"Buffy said to herself,thinking of her last encounter with Angel.

***Buffy walked through the graveyard.It was quite tonight.It was as if all the vamps went on vacation.All of a sudden a figure fell out in front of her.It was Angel."Buffy?Oh God I'm so sorry!All the things I did....."Angel exclaimed."Angel?Is that really you?"Buffy asked hopefully."Yes,it's me.Really me.I love you,Buffy."Angel whispered.Angel was standing now.He leaned his head.Their lips were about to touch when Angel's face changed into that of a demons.He tried to bite Buffy but she kneed him in the stomach and ran away.Angel yelled after her"Your boyfriend will never be back,lover!"***

It had been almost a month since that happened and it still hurt to think about it.She had really believed it was him! She had to realise her Angel would never come back to her.

Buffy thought about when Angel had saved her from the Three.What would have happened if he wasn't there?She probably would have been killed.They both had known that nothing could have ever become of their relationship,yet neither of them would admit it.They had their dreams that someday,they could be together.
