Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry, and probably the shortest type of poetry in the world. The type for this contest is the modern form, consisting of three lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables each. Usually, Haiku mention a season, but in our case they must evoke thoughts of J/C (or other Voyager M/F couples, see the second entry form). Haiku requires the poet to be concise while still conveying the essential feeling of the subject. The lines are usually phrases instead of sentences, or a collection of words that paint a picture of the feeling.

**NC17 is listed on a separate page. All other categories should be rated no higher than PG-13. All the usual disclaimers apply - over 18 to read or write. For this contest there is the added restriction of not naming, um, NC17 type body parts. Yes, the authors have to be very creative for this one.

There were 171 Haiku entered. I received 92 voting forms. Made 22 prize graphics. And had a baby. AND my contest still ran on schedule! If this contest gets any more successful, I'm going to need help!
