Email me your story as plain text. Make sure there is a blank line between each paragraph.
Here is a simplified version of the template instructions. You will do 3 things.
You may use this template and any of the decoration included in it. When you are done, zip your html file and Email me.
To save this file to your hard drive, click this link and save the zip file to your hard drive. Unzip the files into a separate folder. Keep all the files together in the same folder (graphics, style sheet - ripples.css, and html). If you don't have the font Final Frontier, you can unzip it and install it.
Then rename the file ripples4_entry.html with your story title, all in lowercase with _ instead of spaces. For example, if your story is My Cool Ripples Story, the file name would be my_cool_ripples_story.html.
Then add your information into the file. Replace "A Title" with your story's title. Put in your rating, episode name in spoilers if it's ep related, and a summary.
Next, add your text. Format it with <p> between each paragraph. This can easily be done in Word by searching for ^p or ^p^p and replacing with ^p<p>^p. (The mark ^p means a return in Word.) Then paste your prepared text into this template.
Please only use the ornamentation that I've included in this template. You can set off new sections with the flowers, the blue rule, and/or a drop cap.

After the contest is over, you can repost this page exactly the same as it was in the contest, using my graphics and template, or you can reformat it to fit your own web page. Please note: once you submit your story, you agree to have it posted on the contest sites for the duration of the contest. Errors will be corrected, but fic will not be removed. If you continue to use my template, you will probably want to remove my navigation from the bottom, but please leave the credit for the graphics.
