NBrid Profile Help

Below you will find information on how to setup and edit your NBrid Profile. We keep all member profiles on our message board. This allows members greater control over what they put into their profile, and allows easier access to it when they need to update it.

If you are looking to change your nickname, email address, or password that is part of your NBrid account, fill out the 'NBrid Update' form instead.

New Profile Help

First, register with ezBoard if you don't already have an account with them. There is a link below to take you to the registration page. Then to add your profile, click on the other link below, or you can click on the "New Topic" graphic in the Profile board (see #2 in figure 1 at the bottom of this page). If your ezBoard nickname is different than the nickname you go by in NBrid, please say so your post.

Some suggestions of what to put into your profile are:

• Your email address (use [mail]name@where.com[/mail] to make it a link).
• Your instant messaging account.
• Your homepage (check the 'Convert URL Links' box to have ezBoard change http://... into a link for you).
• Your chat and SegaNet nicknames.
• Your favorite video games.
• What video game systems you own.
• Your favorite quote.
• Where you are from.

While you are free to put what you want, please no SPAM (commercial advertisements), and try to keep it clean. NBridNet screens all profiles before they are put up, and has the right to remove anything it deems necessary to remove.

Lastly, please put your NBrid Password: at the beginning or end of your post so we can confirm it's yours. Don't worry, it will be removed before your profile is made public.

Update Your Profile

There are two ways to do this. The first is if you posted your profile using a registered ezBoard name, and this method updates your profile instantly. The second is for those who didn't use a registered ezBoard name. Read the list in the above 'New Profile Help' to get suggestions on what you should put in your profile.

Registered ezBoard User: To update your profile, just go the Profile board, and log into your ezBoard account (see #1 in figure 1 at the bottom of this page). Then click on your profile, and under your name on the left side you should see "Edit" (see #3 in figure 2). Click on this, and edit your profile as you want.

Unregistered ezBoard User: To update your profile you will have to make an entirely new profile. First, create an ezBoard account if you do not already have one. Then use the link below to add a new profile, or on the main Profile board page click 'New Topic' and create a new profile (see #2 in figure 1 at the bottom of this page). If your ezBoard nickname is different than the nickname you go by in NBrid, please say so in the topic of your post.

Lastly, please put your NBrid Password: at the beginning or end of your post so we can confirm it's yours. Don't worry, it will be removed before your profile is made public.
